Beginners welcome! Our gear is stable and user-friendly, and our guides will teach you what you need to know.

IS THIS A GOOD ACTIVITY FOR KIDS?2023-05-24T17:57:29+00:00

Yes! Kids two and older enjoy kayaking on our protected creeks. Rentals give you flexibility to go at your own pace and stay out only as long as you want, making it a good option for families with younger kids.

Children 12 & under will be in a tandem (2-person) kayak with an adult.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING AND WEAR?2023-05-24T17:58:19+00:00

Bring water and sunscreen (or get it from us when you get here!).

Wear a hat, quick-drying clothes and shoes that you don’t mind getting wet. There are oysters in our saltwater creeks, so it is recommended that you wear shoes that will stay on your feet like Tevas or old tennis shoes in case you fall out.

Walk-ups are welcome, but we recommend that you make a reservation so that we’re ready when you get here! Our staff will prepare your gear and have it ready on the dock when you arrive so that you don’t have to wait.

If you’re driving by and want to go kayaking or paddleboarding, come on in– we’ll get you on the water!
